Prime Intellect, a decentralized AI protocol, announced in a post that it has completed a $15 million financing round, led by Founders Fund, and participated in by Menlo Ventures, Andrej Karpathy (EurekaAI, Tesla, OpenAI), Clem Delangue (Hugging Face), Dylan Patel (SemiAnalysis), Tri Dao (Together.AI), Balaji Srinivasan (Network School), Emad Mostaque (Stability AI), Jake Medwell (co-founder of 8VC), Brendan McCord (Cosmos Institute), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon), etc. After the completion of this round of financing, the total amount raised exceeded $20 million. Prime Intellect is building a peer-to-peer protocol for computing and intelligence, dedicated to the collective co-creation, co-construction and sharing of sovereign open source AI.
