David Sacks, the White House director of AI and cryptocurrency, said in a social media post: "Premature sales of Bitcoin by the U.S. government have cost U.S. taxpayers more than $17 billion. Now the federal government will develop a strategy to maximize the value of its Bitcoin holdings."
