The Attorney General of Oregon filed an enforcement action against Coinbase. Coinbase issued a statement saying that this lawsuit is as baseless as previous Securities Exchange Commission lawsuits, and Coinbase will do everything in its power to defeat it, but this lawsuit directly undermines the constructive policy making that is underway in Washington, D.C. In addition, Coinbase said that Coinbase customers in Oregon and elsewhere need not worry, and related business services will not be affected.
