On April 29th, Democratic Representative Shri Thanedar of Michigan introduced seven articles of impeachment against Trump on Monday. The impeachment content mainly involves obstruction of justice, abuse of power, usurpation of power, and bribery and corruption charges, mainly related to the president's concentration of power and personal finances. In a statement, Thanedar said Trump was "unfit to serve as president and poses a clear and present threat to the nation's constitution and democracy." According to reports, these impeachment measures are nearly impossible to pass because Republicans currently control both houses of Congress.
