The developer of the popular party game "Cards Against Humanity" has accused Elon Musk's SpaceX company of trespassing and vandalizing a vacant lot the company owns in Texas. In a lawsuit filed this week in the state's court, the Cards Against Humanity group claims that for at least the past six months, SpaceX has essentially treated its Cameron County property as its own. The lawsuit alleges that SpaceX previously acquired other plots near the property, placing construction materials such as gravel and other debris on the land without permission. SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Cards Against Humanity bought the land in 2017, which it said was one of a stunt against former President Donald Trump's border wall, and 150,000 people have each donated $15 to the initiative. Cards Against Humanity says the land has remained in its natural state for years. The company also says it has a "No Trespassing" sign to warn people about stepping onto private property. The company is seeking $15 million in damages, which includes loss of vegetation on the land.
