Detained Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan was still being held in a Nigerian jail on Wednesday, with Judge EmekaNwite allegedly appearing to be absent from Gambaryan's hearing this week, instead going to attend a seminar at the National Institute of Justice in the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Gambaryan's hearing has now been rescheduled for Friday, October 11. He has been held in Nigeria since the end of February 2024, when he was charged by Nigerian authorities with money laundering and tax evasion.
