According to a survey, women are showing a growing interest in cryptocurrency investing, with most favoring long-term strategies and low-risk assets such as bitcoin despite a lack of industry knowledge. The survey revealed that 50% of female cryptocurrency investors prioritize long-term financial growth, with 49% holding digital assets for up to five years and 39% planning to hold them for more than five years. Of the 1,400 investors surveyed, more than 54% have invested in bitcoin, ether for the first time.
Female investors have grown by an average of 8.1% over the past year, but lack of education remains a major challenge for women adopting mainstream cryptocurrencies. More than 81% of respondents admitted to a lack of investment experience, with 24% of female investors citing a lack of investment knowledge as their biggest challenge, while 41% pointed to funding constraints.
